CONGRATS and THANK YOU to all of the wonderful runners who joined us at Fit Families and Trails Day.  We had a blast and hope you all did too despite the record heat.  It is wonderful to watch all of the families running together.

Forgive us for the hills!!  We were asked to change the course the week prior to the race due to street crossing concerns.  Thank  you for taking time out of your busy lives to come sweat with us.  Hope to see you in 2009.  Keep hitting those City of Fairfax trails!

REGISTRATION: Online registration closes at noon on June 6, 2008.  Race Day register from 6:30am to 8:00am.

*We highly recommend NOT waiting until race day to register.  Last year's lines were long!
FEES: $20 per person for the 5K.
$15 per person for the 1-mile fun run.
 
PACKET PICKUP: Packet Pickup at the new PACERS in downtown Fairfax on Friday, June 6th from 5pm to 8:00pm or pickup your packet before 8am on race day.

AWARDS: 5K awards to for both men and women in the following categories:
Ages 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, over 60.

1-mile awards to first 3 finishers.
TRAILS DAY ACTIVITIES: Trails Day festivities are being held at Van Dyck Park during and after the Fit Families race.  Trails Day features shopping at vendor booths, skate park exhibition, kids activities, music, food/drink, and much more.
 
NEW THIS YEAR: New course, new race course and finish line management, and plenty more entertainment to make this a true family event.
